Pinewood Derby Car

Today is March 19, 2012. Today I a have changed  from testing the speed of a hotwheel car when you add weight, to testing the speed of a pinewood derby car when you add weight, and how fast you can make it go by only changing the weight, and were it is on the car. Today I learned that weight most definently affects speed of a pinewood derby car, but depends on where you position the weight on the car.

Today is March 12, 2012. Today i am searching to see if the weight of a hotwheel affects the speed it goes down the track and if it goes faster or slower. The answer was yes because it changes the friction of the car, and the speed would depend on the cars mass.
